Brian Curran is a lifelong resident of Lynbrook, NY. Curran was elected to represent the residents of the 21st District in the New York State Assembly on November 2, His district includes Lynbrook, Rockville Centre, and parts of the towns of Baldwin, East Rockaway, Franklin Square, Freeport, Hewlett, Malverne, Oceanside, South Hempstead, and West Hempstead. Curran serves as the Ranking Minority Member of the Ethics and Guidance Committee and is a member of the Banks, Labor, Insurance, and Veterans Affairs committees.

Brian attended Our Lady of Peace Elementary School and graduated from St. Agnes High School in He received his undergraduate degree in from Wilkes University. In , he earned his Jurist Doctorate from CUNY Law School. Soon after graduation, he was admitted to the New York State and Connecticut Bars.

With law as his profession, Curran generated a wealth of experience in various levels of government and community matters.
